The University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences Office of Clinical Research awards this certification to Clinical Research Staff who complete 8 hours of course training and pass an online post-test.

The course content provides an introduction to the field of clinical research and provides an introduction to the University of Chicago research infrastructure. The curriculum introduces participants to concepts and tenants of ICH Good Clinical Practices (GCP) that can be applied to their role supporting investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored, clinical research. The design of the program meets the needs of research staff and provides resources, tools, templates, and necessary knowledge to achieve high quality research standards (Office of Clinical Research).
